The injuries to this tree were caused by a tree climber using spikes to climb the tree while pruning. The work was done more than 2 years before these pictures were taken and, as you can see, the wounds did not heal. Pro Arbor removed this tree because of its deteriorating health. The pictures below are of our crew removing this tree. Had proper techniques been used from the start, removal would not have been necessary.
