Dr. Marcus is a general surgeon who is chief of surgery at Marina Del Rey Hospital in Los Angeles as well as an integral member of the team at the RoxSpa Aesthetics cosmetic surgery center and the Rox Bariatric Center, both in Beverly Hills. Dr. Marcus specializes in Laparoscopic surgery and Endoscopic surgery and has made the pursuit of less invasive surgery techniques his passion. When he is not in surgery, Dr. Marcus is committed to the research and development of less invasive procedures that offer patients greatly reduced scarring with minimal pain and abbreviated healing time.
Dr. Marcus received his B.S. degree at UCLA, his M.D. degree at Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel and completed his General Surgery residency at the world-renowned Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York and Columbia Presbyterian in New York City. Dr Marcus passion for minimally invasive surgery began during his fellowship in Laparoscopic and Endoscopic surgery at Oregon Health Sciences in Portland, Oregon.
