Recovery Plus Foundation has been formed for the purposes of assisting people with substance abuse problems and seeking solutions to the disease of addiction through education, research and treatment for those who cannot afford it. Substance abuse is a deadly disease with one of the highest mortality rates. Estimates suggest over 24 million people in the United States suffer daily. Only 10% of those with severe treatment need, receive help. Many factors trigger the disease including genetics, physical, mental, spiritual and economic conditions. Deaths rates from alcohol abuse alone are greater than that of all cancers. We are committed to using our resources to effectively achieve our mission statement. We ask you to consider making tax deductible donations to help us restore the life of people with this disease, restore the life of the people around them and improve society as a whole. The cost of addiction to society as a whole is enormous. Cost of professional treatment is significantly less than the cost of non-treatment when you consider the costs of the related pain, crime and incarceration of a non-productive substance abusing individual. |
