Special Pets takes pride in being Lexington, South Carolina's smallest boarding facility for dogs. It is our small size, with limited space available, that allows us to give each dog in our care the warm, personalized care he or she deserves. We have a new eight run kennel building with extra spacious indoor/outdoor runs just for larger dogs and multiple dogs boarding together. Our original kennel is better suited for the pampered puppies and little dogs that might find boarding in a big dog atmosphere too stressful. All dogs have indoor/outdoor runs and ample playtime in a fenced yard during the course of the day. All dog areas are heated and cooled for your pet's comfort. Owner has twenty five years experience as a pet groomer and a dog care professional and resides on the property for your pet's safety and wellbeing. Multiple pet discounts and special rates on long term boarding. Also ask about our doggy daycare program while you are at work or otherwise busy!! We also offer full grooming services from basic shavedowns to fancy styles for the discriminating canine. We can have your dog looking and smelling his best after a day at the spa.
